Sunday 31 July, 2022 corresponding to the 1st Day of New Islamic year 1444 called the Hijri year. On this day Prophet Muhammed PBUH migrated from Makka to Madina and from that day the 1st Year of Hirja (Migration) started.
1st Month of Islamic year is called Muhurram. 1st Muhurram 1444 AH (After Hijra) will be observed on 31st July, 2022.
All the public and private sectors will remain closed on this day. Employees working on Public holidays will be compensated as per their company’s policy.
